[edit] User Management
When clicking the 'User Management' link in the menu, you will be displayed with a list of all users, including valid and retired users (represented by being greyed out).
Users are listed in order of surname (second name), followed by their surname, and email address. The users contact phone number and last log in time is also listed.
The corresponding 'TOOLS' link can be clicked for a list of functions to perform on the user account.
[edit] Add User
You can create a new user by clicking on the '[Add Account]' link at the top the User Management Listing Page.
[edit] Edit User
This function gives you the ability to change the users:
- Email Address
- Password - will not display when typing it in. Both the password fields must be the same.
- First Name
- Surname (or Last Name)
- Phone Number
- Notification Flag: Whether the user should receive email notifications and requests.
- Contactable Flag: Whether the user will receive results from the 'Contact Us' form of the website
Once you have made the required changes, simply, click the "Update User Details" Button.
If you don't want to change the password, simply leave the two fields blank.
[edit] Retire User
Retired Users are user accounts that have previously been used, but are now disabled. This may be due to the person leaving the company, or another reason.
It is not possible to retire the System Administrator user.
To Retire a user, simply click the 'Tools' link of the corresponding user, and select 'Retire'. You will first be asked to confirm retirement of the user before it occurs.
[edit] Why not delete the user entirely?
It is necessary to keep the user in the system, as their user ID is referenced by pages, and articles they may have created or edited. If we remove their account from the system entirely, we would have no knowlege of who created or edited the page or article in the past.

Privilege types include:
- CA: Content Approver, for which only one can exist per page
- CE: Content Editor, for which multiple can exist per page
- None: no privileges.
